Tuesday Movie: We Need to Talk About Kevin

I saw this movie at the library and decided to watch it last night.  I am kind of speechless right now.  It's very well acted, but I have to warn you, it is disturbing.  I'm not even sure I want to recommend it.

Has anyone seen it?  What did you think?  I think I need to go look at cute pictures of kittens and puppies.

  1. Creepy. No, I haven't seen it...don't think I will. Thanks for the heads up. :)

    1. It is creepy because you don't know who or what to blame for the tragedy that unfolds. Anyway, I found this essay from Dylan Klebold's mother. Dylan was one of the kids responsible for the mass killing at Columbine. Here it is if you want to read something that is a little more enlightening. It always helps to "walk a mile" in someone else's shoes to see what they've been through.

  2. I've never even heard of it. But it looks really creepy. I like the actors in the movies but i doubt i'd pay to see it. I'll watch it when it's free on tv.

  3. Hey there! I watched this film some time ago, and I think it's absolutely brilliant. Well acted as you said, but so much more. It gives a psychological view on being close to a manipulator/murderer... Even though Ezra Miller is pretty hot, I must admit he scared the hell out of me! Keep watching great films!

    1. Thanks for commenting and following Hannah! This was the first film I'd seen Ezra Miller in and he was very good. I saw that he is in "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" and I definitely want to check that out when it's released on DVD. I'm old, but I like YA fiction.
